Invest In TICC Watershed Recoverable Grant

Turtle Island Community Capital (TICC) is a Native-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit financial intermediary building the capital and support infrastructure that Native entrepreneurs, tribal enterprises, and Indigenous communities need to thrive across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

TICC is building Native-led financial infrastructure for Indigenous entrepreneurs, Tribal Nations, and Native-led organizations across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. A recoverable grant to TICC’s Watershed capital strategy helps provide flexible, relationship-based loan capital alongside technical assistance and borrower development. This capital supports Native small businesses, cultural entrepreneurs, clean energy projects, food systems, land-based initiatives, and community infrastructure that are often overlooked by conventional finance. When repaid, the funds can be recycled into additional community lending and long-term Indigenous economic self-determination.
