About TenX Nutrition
TenX Nutrition is building a mass-market brand in the everyday foods market in Kenya - while fighting malnutrition at scale. We're targeting exactly those markets of products that are eaten millions of times a day - which however are yet entirely without brand leaders.
We've started with Mandazi POWER: the region's everyday staple breakfast, built into a modern brand and enriched to deliver 25% of daily nutrient needs in every piece. Same price, same roadside shops in the low-income communities that already buy mandazi — and it's going through the roof. Not because of nutrition claims, but because people love the product: more than 2M products sold in 12 months. We're one of the fastest-growing FMCG companies in Kenya right now, with demand vastly outstripping our capacity.
That's why we're scaling production fast, investing substantially in automation that lifts both our output and our product quality. The market is enormous, and every product is built specifically to fight malnutrition — integrating into everyday life with no behaviour change required. The result is a commercially viable, vastly scalable solution to micronutrient deficiency, and one that is fundamentally new.
This round is $800,000. Roughly half goes into CapEx; the other half carries us to break-even within six months of the new machinery going live — the point at which we'll be closing in on 90,000 richly nutritious foods sold every single day.

Mission and Vision
We're building the brand leader of East Africa's biggest unbranded food categories — and the most scalable answer to malnutrition the region has seen. Mandazi is the most commonly eaten convenience food in Kenya (and across East Africa in slightly different form): a mass-market staple sold in the millions every day, with no brand and no company behind it. Mandazi POWER is the same food, same price, same shop shelf — just branded in a modern way, designed to be loved by consumers and fortified to provide approx 25% daily nutrient requirements per peace. No behaviour change, no premium, no trade-off on taste. Our vision is a market-based solution to a problem that so far only knew reactive, temporary solutions. One that has the potential to reach millions of consumers and generate millions in profit.

it's electric
it's electric is the world's first public curbside EV charging network powered by buildings. We install Level 2 chargers on urban curbsides that draw electricity from adjacent building spare electrical capacity — bypassing the costly and time-consuming grid interconnection and upgrades required by conventional charging infrastructure. Better yet? We revenue share with every building we connect to.it's electric’s core mission is to unlock EV access for urban drivers that have no private driveway or garage, resolving a critical infrastructure gap.Impact:Nearly half of U.S. households have no private driveway or garage. These drivers — disproportionately renters, lower-income, and from disadvantaged communities (that often are mass transit deserts) are forced to rely on their personal vehicle for daily transportation and as they cannot charge at home are effectively locked out of EV ownership. it's electric deployments are deliberately targeted at multifamily, high-density neighborhoods with high charging gaps, including Justice40-designated communities. In LA, this has meant prioritizing Koreatown and South LA to serve rideshare and delivery drivers who have the highest VMT and therefore the greatest GHG reduction potential per converted vehicle. We are raising our Seed II enabling the runway to unlock our first $10m in revenue via deployment within 9 awarded U.S. cites.

DACLAB Inc
First economically viable Direct Air Capture (DAC) products that remove CO₂ from the atmosphere to make a measurable impact when scaled. CO₂ is captured from air and stored permanently underground to manage atmospheric resources away from greenhouse effects. Captured CO₂ is also used in products like beverages and clean e-fuels which can strengthen global energy supply chains.Low Risk Business Model of an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), similar to how solar panel manufacturers don't build and manage solar farms, we only design and manufacture the carbon capture technology, and our partners deploy and manage the DAC farms. Thanks to six years of R&D, we are now a revenue generating business: $1.7M this year is booked and being delivered.Ready to Ship Products in two form factors which are the Kelvin Tower (350 tonnes of CO₂/year) and the Kelvin POD (100 ton/year unit) that will be made by contract manufacturers. In 2026, our Kelvin POD is being deployed at a brewery in Washington state paid for by the state, and we are delivering the first commercial Kelvin Tower to Deep Sky in Alberta, Canada paid for by the developer Deep Sky — where CO₂ will be permanently sequestered.Strong backers have invested $3.5M into DACLab's seed round to date, including Jane Woodward (Stanford Climate Fund, Fervo board) and Dave Roux (Silver Lake co-founder) and Peter Relan (first investor in Discord). We are now extending our seed round to accelerate deployment of the Kelvin product line.

Viable Gear - Strength from the Sea
Viable Gear is a women-led, mission-driven startup building the next generation of materials. We’ve developed a patent-pending, marine- and soil-compostable bioplastic made from seaweed—designed to replace petroleum-based plastics at scale and reshape the global plastics economy with materials that work with the planet, not against it. The urgency is undeniable: nearly 400 million metric tons of plastic are produced each year, much of it persisting for centuries, while microplastics are now found in our air, water, soils, food systems—and the human body—signaling a systemic failure of conventional materials. Viable Gear offers a better path forward. After years of R&D, powered by more than $1M in non-dilutive capital, we are now at a critical inflection point. We’re raising funds to bring our pilot product to market and unlock our next phase of growth. To reach that milestone, we're targeting a final $300K. Rather than accept premature dilution or risk stalling in the “valley of death” that sidelines so many breakthrough ventures, we are approaching this raise with the same creativity that defines our company—leveraging non-traditional capital sources, including donor-advised fund dollars and other mission-aligned pathways, to bridge to launch.
