Encore Entertainment Group helps scale independent event businesses that inform, connect, and empower our communities. Our focus is Enriching Entertainment. This includes lectures and storytelling, live podcasts and interviews, discussion groups and debates, workshops and other interactive learning formats. By expanding access to Enriching Entertainment, we inspire civic engagement and strengthen democracy across the United States.
Encore’s capital and shared infrastructure help portfolio businesses reach more people, more sustainably. Encore measures its contribution across three layers:
- Access and Participation (who is reached, and how)
- Community Power (whether participation leads to involvement in community life)
- Democratic Culture (how Encore strengthens local civic ecosystems, including partnerships with other businesses and organizations).
