Arcade Therapeutics: Transforming Women's Mental Health with Therapeutic Games
Women experience anxiety at twice the rate of men, are twice as likely to face depression, and 1 in 5 experience postpartum depression — yet 75% of maternal mental health conditions go untreated. Arcade Therapeutics is changing that with a first-of-its-kind platform that turns clinically proven mental health treatment into something women actually want to use: a casual mobile game.
Arcade Therapeutics first product, StarStarter, uses Attention Bias Modification (ABM) — a neuroscience-backed technique validated across 7 NIH-funded clinical trials — to retrain how the brain responds to anxiety. Just 6–12 minutes a day over 30 days. No prescription required. In its clinical study, 90% of users saw a reduction in anxiety symptoms, with an average improvement of 33%. Its most recent findings were published in the Journal of Anxiety Disorders.
Arcade is not just a product — it is building a platform. ArcadeConnect™, its AI-driven clinical insights layer, enables real-time mood tracking and automated escalation to higher levels of care, making us a compelling partner for health systems, universities, and employer programs alike.
