The Empower Her Founders Fund is a powerful initiative designed to fuel the growth of inspiring, women-led companies. Guided by a dedicated investment committee, the Founders Fund carefully screens and selects investments that have the potential to make a transformative impact. By unlocking philanthropic capital through DAFs, foundations, and direct investments, the Fund allocates resources to women-led businesses that are driving innovation and change. With a goal of deploying over $500,000 annually, Empower Her aims to champion the next generation of female leaders, providing them with the support and funding they need to thrive.

In our first year, we plan to make 5-7 investments ranging from $50,000 to $200,000. Approximately 90% of these will be follow-on investments alongside an Impact Institutional Fund, supporting early-stage women founders we believe in, though we won’t be leading deals. The fund has no carry, but there is a one-time 5% fee to cover investment management fees for 4 years. All returns can either be re-invested, returned to donors’ DAFs or Foundations, or donated directly to non-profits via the CataCap platform.
